The Hard Conversation Intensive

The Hard Conversation Intensive

For the one conversation you’ve been dreading.

The layoff. The conflict that’s gone underground. The feedback that’s three months overdue.

You already know what needs to be said. What you need is to walk in steady, say it clearly, and come out with your integrity and the relationship intact.

Why Preparation Alone Hasn’t Worked

You’ve rehearsed. You’ve written notes. And when the moment comes, your mind goes blank, or you soften the message until it disappears, or you say more than you meant to.

That isn’t a lack of skill. It’s your nervous system reacting before your words can catch up.

Communication is a nervous system event before it’s a language event. We prepare both.

What We Do Together

What we do together

In one focused 90-minute session, we map your conversation from start to finish:

  • The opening: the first words, so you don’t stall at the start

  • The hard middle: what to say when it gets uncomfortable

  • The words that hold: language that stays clear under pressure

  • Walking in regulated: how to settle your body before and during

  • The repair path: what to do if it slips

You leave with a one-page Conversation Map you can use for this conversation and every hard one after it.

What’s included

  • A 10-minute intake call to name the issue

  • One 90-minute 1:1 session by Zoom

  • Your Conversation Map

  • A 30-minute debrief after you’ve had the conversation

Investment: $950

How it Works

Book a free consult. We’ll talk for a few minutes to see whether this is the right fit.

Do the intensive. Ninety minutes to build your Conversation Map and practice it.

Have your intake call. Ten minutes to name the conversation and what’s at stake.

Have the conversation. On your timeline.

Debrief. Thirty minutes to talk through what happened and what you learned.

Common Questions

Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching. We focus on one real conversation you’re facing and prepare you to have it.

What if the conversation doesn’t go the way I hoped?
That’s what the repair path and the debrief are for. Hard conversations rarely go perfectly, and knowing how to recover is part of the skill.

How soon can we meet?
Most intensives are scheduled within one to two weeks.

What if I need to reschedule?
24 hours notice is required.

What if I want more support afterward?
Some clients continue into 1:1 leadership coaching. There’s no pressure to; the intensive stands on its own.
