THE FIELD FOR
HUMAN
communication that builds culture…
not just content or conversation
This site is still taking root. The field is preparing. Come back soon.
I help leaders, changemakers, and organizations align how they speak with how they actually operate.
Because your culture isn't shaped by your values statement.
It's shaped in meetings, decisions, conflict, and the conversations you're avoiding.
That’s where we enter The Field for Human Communication…together.
YOU’RE NOTICING THE GAP
What you say you value isn't showing up in how your team actually communicates.
Trust is eroding, not because people aren't trying, but because communication patterns are misaligned with stated culture.
Leaders are exhausted performing a version of leadership that doesn't feel true—and it's starting to show.
The cost?
Disengagement. Turnover. Decisions that stall. Conflicts that repeat. A culture that strains instead of strengthens.
The question isn't whether you communicate.
It's whether your communication is building what you actually want.
THREE WAYS WE WORK TOGETHER
01 — Communication Consulting
Strengthen how your organization communicates—internally and publicly—
so values translate into observable behaviors.
This is culture work at the systems level.
For: Leaders, teams, and organizations
You need: Communication patterns mapped, culture alignment, organizational voice development
02 — Leadership Coaching
Develop emotional intelligence, relational clarity, and embodied communication practices. Build steadiness under pressure and the ability to speak truth without losing connection.
For: Individual leaders and small cohorts
You need: Executive presence, communication skills, personal leadership development
03 — Feminine Leadership Guidance
An orientation toward leadership rooted in awareness, integration, and sustainability. Moving from performance to presence, from control to coherence. Open to anyone drawn to leading this way.
For: Leaders ready to lead differently
You need: A relational, grounded approach to power and influence
The Field for Human Communication
My work lives inside what I call The Field for Human Communication—a relational approach to how we lead, speak, decide, and shape culture together.
Communication isn't something you turn on and off.
It's the landscape you create.
With every meeting. Every decision. Every silence. Every truth you speak. Every conversation you avoid.
The Field is where leaders and teams learn to align what they value with how they show up—cultivating emotional intelligence, relational clarity, and communication that strengthens culture rather than straining it.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
I’m Mary Huron Hunter—a communication strategist, certified mediator, facilitator, and coach with 30+ years working across corporations, nonprofits, startups, and government.
I began as a journalist, trained to examine every story from a 360-degree perspective. That discipline of inquiry still grounds my work.
What I know:
Culture doesn't live in statements. It lives in how power is exercised, how feedback is given, how conflict is met, and how decisions are made.
What I do:
I help leaders, changemakers, and organizations translate values into observable behaviors—through communication that is clear, embodied, and relational.
How I lead:
From feminine principles. Relational, grounded, nervous-system aware. Power with, not over.
You're Already Tending
the Field
The question is whether you're doing it on purpose.
If you're a leader navigating complexity, a team stuck in patterns that repeat, or an organization where communication is straining culture instead of strengthening it…
Let's start the conversation.
Here’s How it Works…
We Design the Path
Your engagement is responsive to what you actually need—not a pre-packaged program. Some work is singular. Some evolves into a combination.
You Communicate From Coherence
Communication becomes steadier. Leadership feels more grounded. Your team experiences trust because what you say matches what you do.
We Start With What's True
A conversation to understand what's present, what feels misaligned, and what you're ready to strengthen.

The conversation is already happening. This is a place to meet it. On purpose.

I’ll meet you there.”
