My work lives inside a larger ecosystem I call The Field of Human Communication

I’m Mary Huron Hunter (she/her)—a communication strategist, guide, and coach.
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked across corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and local government, supporting people who carry responsibility, navigate complexity, and make decisions with real-world consequences.
What grounds my work is a deep study of:
Human behavior and relational dynamics
Somatic awareness and emotional regulation
Communication under pressure and uncertainty
Nature as teacher, mirror, and organizing intelligence
I’m interested in how people actually function in the modern world—
how conflict shows up in the body,
how meaning is made between people,
and how communication either builds trust or quietly erodes it.
I support leaders and individuals in developing communication that is clear, regulated, and relational, especially when clarity, trust, and connection matter most.
