Communicationship

When we think about the role of communication in a relationship and how healthy relationships are built upon a foundation of mutual expression, respect, connection and trust, I couldn't help but create a word and a definition that embodies this concept.

So, here it is...

I think of "communicationship" as kinship and connection with one another through a commitment to clear, honest and open communication...in thought, word and deed.

When we devote ourselves to the act of "communicationship," I believe we become more regulated, balanced and free...

And who doesn't want THAT?!
